After a three way pitch against London agencies, iQ Media, who are based in Cheshire, were chosen to help The Student Support Centre to develop and significantly improve their online presence and e communications.
The Student Support Centre is the UK’s leading provider of home tuition / home based learning materials. Established in 1991, it has become the largest provider of home-based Maths, English and Reading tuition programmes for 4-17 year olds with 9 local offices across the UK. The Student Support Centre (SSC) have helped over 200,000 children boost their confidence and learning skills in the classroom and at home.
Simon Poyser, MD of iQ Media explained “The creative challenge was to develop an engaging website for The Student Support Centre which would appeal to the Parents, Students aged between 4 – 17 and Teachers. In addition to developing the new website which is very visual and interactive, with an introductory video, we also produced an interactive version of their magazine Passmasters for students, with lots of appealing graphics and this has been a major hit”.
iQ Media creates and delivers imaginative solutions for major brands and as well as creating bespoke content for clients the company has developed a number of e communication products.
The site was built using iQ Core the versatile content management system developed by iQ Media which makes it easy for SSC to develop the content, site structure and maintain visitors.
Simon continued: “The site incorporates a number of data capture forms to build a database for ease of follow up with an e.marketing campaign. This information could then be used within iQ Mail, our own email campaign platform. This allows our client to produce targeted campaigns for children, parents and teachers. All activity can be monitored though a browser dashboard to monitor the effectiveness of each campaign so that this is refined and key data on bounce rates and where links have been clicked, taking the reader onto the website is readily available, which facilitates effective follow up of qualified leads”.
